Pearl Kapur, a young entrepreneur aged 27, has become India’s youngest billionaire, achieving a net worth of $1.1 billion through his startup Zyber 365. Kapur, an alumnus of Queen Mary University of London, founded Zyber 365 in May 2023 and now holds a majority stake of 90% in Zyber 365 Technologies Ltd (UK).
The Sram & Mram Group, recognizing Zyber 365’s potential, invested $100 million in Series A funding, acquiring an 8.3% stake and boosting the startup’s valuation to $1.2 billion. Within just three months, Kapur’s dedication propelled Zyber 365 to unicorn status, making it the fastest unicorn in India and Asia, now ranked 109th among India’s unicorns.
Zyber 365, co-founded by Pearl Kapur and Sunny Vaghela, is known for its innovative EVM Compatible Web3 Layer 1 Proof of Authority (PoA) sustainable chain. Kapur’s commitment to environmental sustainability, along with Vaghela’s expertise as an ethical hacker, forms the core of the team, with Soneshwar Singh as CTO and Samiraj Singh as CFO.
Based in the UK, Zyber 365 aims to make India its central hub. The company’s EVM Compatible Smart Contract Platform prioritizes sustainability and energy efficiency, aligning with United Nations SDG Goals. Zyber 365 plans to launch its native token and introduce the EVM Compatible Layer 1 (PoA) sustainable chain solution by May 2024. Additionally, the company plans to launch a non-custodial DeFi wallet and AI Cashless Stores at Pumps.
